Motley Crue: 1982 - Too Fast For Love

La historia del grupo comienza en 1981, cuando el bajista Nikki Sixx (ex-London) convoca al baterista Tommy Lee y al vocal/guitarrista Greg Leon (ambos, previamente Suite 19). Greg Leon, eventualmente deja la banda. Luego, en búsqueda de su reemplazo encuentran al guitarrista Mick Mars (ex-White horse).
Pero necesitaban un vocalista; Lee conocía a Vince Neil desde la preparatoria, y finalmente Neil queda dentro de la banda.
En ese entonces la banda pudo llamarse Christmas, pero (agraciadamente) pasaron a llamarse Mötley crüe.
Siendo ésta es su primera entrega en 1981, pero re-editado en 1982. En éste año, la banda fue arrestada por el uso de sus extrañas ropas con púas y porque Vince Neil portaba revistas porno, siendo, (también) consideradas como armas peligrosas (prácticamente).

En 1984, Vince Neil choca su vehículo camino a la botillería, falleciendo su acompañante: Nicholas Dingley (baterista de Hanoi Rocks). Vince fue acusado de manejar en estado de ebriedad y de homicidio vehicular.
Pero, en 1985 el grupo saca otro de sus discos exitosos.

En 1987, Nikki Sixx casi fallece por una sobredosis de heroína, lo cual fue la inspiración para la canción Kickstart my heart.
Luego de ésto todos los miembros de la banda (menos Mick, que sólo venció a su adicción) se internan para salir de su adicción.
Éste disco fue lejos el más exitoso de su carrera.

Motley Crue: 1987 - Decade Of Decadence


Mientras la banda trabajaba en su nuevo trabajo, le dieron a sus fans éste compilado.
Que también fue un éxito, aunque no contaron con mucho respaldo de su empresa discográfica.
En 1992 Vince Neil (no se sabe si despedido o por mérito propio) deja la banda, y comienza un proyecto como solista. Siendo reemplazado por John Corabi (previamente miembro de Angora y The Scream)

En el mismo año, Tommy Lee, abandona la banda, por problemas con Vince Neil, y para comenzar una carrera como solista. Fue reemplazado por Randy Castillo (quien tocó en varias ocasiones para Ozzy Osbourne).

Durante el tour de la banda, Samantha Maloney fue la baterista.
Randy Castillo fallece el 2002, y la banda se congela momentáneamente.
Nikki Sixx, formó parte de los grupos Brides of destruction y 58. Mientras que Tommy Lee, estuvo en Methods of mayhem y como solista.
En el 2004 los miembros originales se reunen.

La verdad para mi es uno de los mejores DVD greatest hits que he visto trae todos los videos de Motley incluyendo las versiones "Unreleased" de Girls Girls Girls, Primal Scream, etc.... esta en formato .RatDVD y tiene una exelente imagen, para convertirlo a formato DVD o cualquiera otro solo bajan el programa de Ratdvd de la pagina de Xvid españa y listo, a empezar la fiesta!!!
